Cultural heritage forum
The forum will be coordinated by CIPA on behalf of ISPRS and ICOMOS. It will address the contribution of 3D acquisition and modelling techniques as a source of documentation to assist preservation, conservation and preventive maintenance of cultural heritage. Some presentations will illustrate the actual role of cultural heritage documentation. The relevance of the term “Digital Cultural Heritage” will also be discussed and new challenges will be addressed.
