Martin Pfennigbauer (RIEGL)

Dr. Martin Pfennigbauer holds a PhD in engineering from Vienna University of Technology. He is with RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems since 2005, presently as the director of research and intellectual property. He manages research projects funded by the European Space Agency, the European Union and Austrian national funds. He is the product manager for hydrographic airborne laser scanning systems. His special interest is the design and development of lidar instruments for surveying applications, with a focus on rangefinder design, waveform processing and point cloud analysis.
