Biography

Mehdi Daakir received in 2013 an engineering degree from the French National School of Geographical Sciences (ENSG) with a specialization in geodesy & photogrammetry. In 2017 he defended a PhD at IGN (French Mapping Agency) in photogrammetry under the supervision of Marc Pierrot Deseilligny. After 3 years of Research & Development in the industry, he joined CERN in Geneva in 2020 as a Senior Fellow. His subjects of interest are: UAV photogrammetry, GPS/GNSS processing, integrated sensor orientation and applications of photogrammetry in industrial context for metrological purposes.
